Corecut – 40 Years at the cutting edge
As we celebrate our 40th birthday, we continue to go from strength-to-strength under the leadership of Mick’s sons, Finlay (Managing Director) and Ewan (Operations Director). Along with our experience, we keep the same energy and vigour every time we start a new project.
With our newly built headquarters in Broxburn (West Lothian, Scotland) and strategically based offices throughout the country, we have been awarded with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 accreditations, and built an enviable reputation with our highly trained team of CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) qualified operators.
We pride ourselves on having participated in some of the most challenging and innovative projects across the UK and Europe. At Corecut, we are at the forefront of the construction industry with the most-skilled technicians, and always offering the latest and safest technology.
In addition to our main brand, Corecut now includes three other divisions:
- Corecut Nuclear. Our Nuclear Decommissioning services. Always using the latest technology, we provide a range of Complex Drilling and Cutting Services at the highest levels of safety.
- Corejet, offers Hydrodemolition and Water Jetting solutions. Its specialisation is High Pressure Water Jetting and Remote Controlled Hydrodemolition by Robojetting.
- Corecut Fire Protection. One of the UK leading Passive Fire Protection contractors. We have provided numerous companies with fire stopping solutions, including the new building on Cathedral Street, in Glasgow City Campus.
We have successfully completed thousands of contracts promptly and precisely, always using the very latest cutting edge equipment. During all these years, we have taken part in some of most important construction projects in the UK, proudly helping improve and develop Britain’s infrastructure.
Past projects include: the Queen Street Tunnel (Glasgow), a project where Corecut were given special recognition at the 4th Annual Concrete Openings Awards, held in Las Vegas, Edinburgh Trams, the Queensferry Crossing and the Forth Road Bridge connecting Edinburgh and Fife, Liverpool Seaforth Passage, London Waterloo Station, River Keekle Bridge (Cumbria), Rosyth Dockyard, Sheffield Super Trams and the Glasgow SSE Hydro.
We are proud of our achievements in the last forty years. But more importantly, we look to the future with the same attitude, ambition and enthusiasm we had four decades ago.
