Cinema Development at St Enoch Centre
The latest redevelopment project is underway in Glasgow, the iconic St Enoch centre will have its east section transformed into a new multi screen cinema and restaurants.
Brought on board to assist with concrete cutting and hydraulic bursting and working alongside main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd on the new VUE Cinema Core Cut have been on site for the past 4 weeks. Using our expertise we have been able to carry out Silent Non-Percussive Hydraulic Crunching of 500mm Thick Reinforced Concrete during the day whilst the centre remains open.
Part of a wider project to enhance and upgrade the St Enoch area to create an attractive destination for locals and tourists alike to shop, dine and socialise in the heart of one of Scotland’s most vibrant cities. A new proposal includes redeveloping the building located on Argyle Street which would be replaced with flagship retail development units further cementing Glasgow’s reputation as one of the best shopping locations outside of London.
