Our extensive customer base ensures that we always have a very varied order book. This means that we are currently undertaking work ranging from reinforcement surveys in a 1960’s concrete framed office block in Manchester to the dry diamond drilling of test cores through to the shielding structure of a nuclear reactor at Dounreay.
The reinforcement surveys are being carried out using Hilti’s PS 200 Ferroscan which provides clear accurate data and the dry diamond drilling is being undertaken using DD 200 Drill Motors.
You have used the DD 200 drill motor, what benefits did it give you?
The DD 200 makes diamond coring easy. It is easy to handle and operate. The drill can be also used for a variety of jobs including core drilling in ceilings, walls and floors without hammering or vibration. Corecut’s clients demand high standards of workmanship with, very often, tight time scales. That means we have to ‘get it right’, first time, every time. Consequently, we only use equipment that we can trust to do the job – it makes commercial sense.
